Health Specialists needed for volunteer assignments in PNG & Solomon Islands

 

Hospitals, health departments and provincial health authorities in Papua New Guinea & Solomon Islands are looking for Australian health specialists to spend up to 12 months supporting critical COVID-19 response work in-country.  

 

I’m getting in touch as we currently have an urgent need to fill x5 specialist roles with the following skillsets: 

 

X2 Nursing professionals with infection prevention experience (In Lae and Port Moresby)
X1 Nursing professional with critical care experience (In Port Moresby)
X1 Laboratory technician with pathology experience (Lae)
X1 Laboratory technician with microbiology experience (Solomon Islands)

 

The Australian Volunteers Program provides Australian volunteers with a living allowance, insurance, travel costs as well as repatriation support should this be required.

The evolving nature of COVID-19 means that we are not publicly advertising these assignments and we ask that you only share the assignments directly with your networks (via email, newsletters, internal job boards) and refrain from using public platforms such as social media and websites.
